PGMS News Texas Branch Added During 2006 PGMS Business Meeting
PGMS granted a branch charter to Texas during its Annual Business Meeting on Friday, November 3 in conjunction with the 2006 School of Grounds Management and Green Industry Exposition in Columbus, Ohio.
Kevin Dilliard, CGM of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, spearheaded the successful effort to initiate the Branch and will serve as Branch President.
At the meeting Dilliard and newly elected PGMS South Central Regional Director John Burns provided details on how they intend to grow the Branch by promoting it amongst green industry groups in the Lone Star State.
Other Branch members include: Branch President Elect Brian Gerberich of Dallas Theological Seminary; Branch Secretary Barbara Hatchel of City of Amarillo Parks & Rec.; Tom Dew of Texas A&M University; Michael Hugg of Metro National Corporation; Dewey Shroyer of Texas Tech University; and Norman Strang, CGM of Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. ###
