Certification > Becoming a Certified Grounds Technician (CGT) A training manual is provided so that candidates may have the opportunity to study and prepare for the exam. Once the candidate is ready to take the exam, they must call the PGMS and tell us the name of the proctor. The approved proctor will oversee the exam. The CGT exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. The minimum score required is 80%. The items on this list must be compiled before the materials for the Certified Grounds Technician programs may be sent out. Please carefully review this list.
