Pesticide Applicator Recertification on Wednesday, Jan. 25, has been approved for the following categories:

VA Ornamental Pest Control-Outdoor (3-A), Ornamental Pest
Control-Indoor (3-A), Turf (3-B), Registered Technician (60 in Cat. 3 only), Right of Way (6), Demonstration & Research Pest Control (10)
MD Ornamental Exterior (3-A), Ornamental Interior (3-B), Turf (3-C), Industrial Weed (7-E), Demonstration & Research (10), Right-of-Way (6)
DC Exterior Ornamental Plants (3-A), Lawn & Turf (3-B), Interior Ornamental Plants (3-C)

To qualify for pesticide applicator recertification, you are required to attend the entire day on January 25, 2005. You must provide proof of attendance by signing the roster, with your name and permit number, at the beginning of the course on January 25, 2005. Attendance will be verified during and at the end of the training session. We will remit your paperwork to each jurisdiction.

ISA Certified Arborist CEU's (call for details)
VA Certified Nurserymen Credits

The DC Branch of PGMS is holding its “2006 Green Industry Professional Seminar” on January 24-26 at the Ernst Community Cultural Center at Northern Virginia Community College.

The seminar will cover various topics (see below) with several sessions available in Spanish.
Attendees can receive pesticide license recertification for MD, DC, and VA on Wednesday, January 25. (Please see sidebar to the right)

If NVCC closes due to inclement weather, that seminar day will be rescheduled.
