"This award is literally one of the highest achievements a company or organization can gain in our industry" says Brian Birch, Assistant Executive Director of the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA). "The application process involves completing a rigorous application, as well as anonymous judging by a panel of peers. Those who make it to the final stages of the process are good; those that win the award are the best."

The Excellence in Business Awards were announced on Thursday, June 15 during the symposium's annual awards banquet. Applicants traveled from across the US and Canada to be present for the results.
