Cincinnati Branch Appoints Whitney Huang as Board Member
Whitney
Huang is the newest Board member of the Greater Cincinnati Branch.
She is currently a Horticulturist at one of our country's newest
National Historic Landmarks and preeminent horticultural sites,
Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. Whitney's education, professional
work experience, and enthusiasm will be great assets for the Branch.
Originally
from Evansville, Indiana, Whitney received a Bachelor's Degree in
Landscape Horticulture and Design from Purdue University with a
minor in Spanish, and studied abroad in Brazil. Her work experience
had her traveling too with positions at Monrovia in Azusa, California
and the Cleveland Botanic Gardens until being appointed to her current
position with Spring Grove.
Whitney
is extremely dedicated to horticulture and serving the grounds management
profession. She is currently a member of PGMS, Greater Cincinnati
Association of Cemetery Superintendents and Officials, Perennial
Plant Association, American Horticultural Society, American Rose
Society, and the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association

members.
