2011 Springfield Regional Grounds Management Seminar & Site Visit a Success!

Grounds professionals from all over the country celebrated the beginning of Spring in Springfield, Missouri April 7-8! As part of PGMS's 2011 Seminar and Site Visit Series, 60+ professionals headed to Springfield to enjoy interesting site tours and educational seminars. The beautiful spring weather provided for a great backdrop as attendees toured the grounds of Highland Springs Country Club, Nathanael Greene Park and Springfield Botanical Center, just to name a few. Numerous guest speakers inspired the crowd with their engaging seminars. New friends were made and ideas exchanged during the networking receptions. View photos from the event below!

springfield At the University Plaza Hotel, these trees are nicknamed "Dick Cheney hollies" as the lower branches were required by Secret Service agents to be trimmed for security purposes when the Vice President visited the property.
