Pre-Conference
Field Trip

Nov. 3 - 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Pre-Conference
Field Trip will take place at the Bartlet Tree Research Laboratories.
Founded in 1907, the Laboratories' primary missions are to research
and evaluate new products and procedures for maintaining the health
of their client's landscape plants; to provide technical support to
their Arborist-Representatives, technicians and their clients; and to
provide training to company employees to ensure their clients' plants
receive the highest level of care.

Welcoming Reception
Thursday, Nov. 4 - 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Mingle
with fellow PGMS members at this networking social at the Charlotte
Marriott City Center.
Business
Over Breakfast
Thursday,
Nov. 4 and Saturday Nov. 16 - 6:45 a.m to 8:15 a.m.
These
ticketed events will give you a chance to network with fellow grounds
professionals and PGMS members. These breakfast events will also feature
in-demand guest speakers Dr. Michael Dirr and George Toma.
Annual
Business Meeting
Friday,
Nov. 5 - 6:45 a.m to 8:15 a.m.
The PGMS
Annual Business Meeting is held in conjunction with the Annual Conference
and Green Industy Expo allowing as many members as possible a practical
chance to attend. Included in the Annual Business Meeting agenda are
the following:
- The
election of Officers
- Official
reporting of the Society's business, fresh from the Fall Board Meeting
- Branch
reports
- The
chance to ask questions of the officers and board members
*There
will also be a continental breakfast served.
Product
Field Day
Thursday,
Nov. 4 - 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
With
more than 110 manufacturers on hand, this free field day will give
attendees an opportunity to take a hands-on look at the equipment
the exhibitors have for sale. When the education sessions end at 10:30,
conference attendees will be shuttled to the Field Day and treated
to a warm lunch and an afternoon of outdoor demonstrations.
